About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and professional HGV Driver Class 1 to join their esteemed transportation fleet operating out of Cardiff . You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across various routes, adhering to all legal and company regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle in a safe and legal manner on assigned routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey.
• Securely load and unload goods, ensuring they are properly stowed.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation.
• Represent the company professionally to clients and the public.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 HGV licence (C+E).
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network .
• Excellent driving record with no major endorsements.
