HGV / LCV Technician - 4-Day Back Shift Are you an experienced HGV or LCV Technician looking for a permanent 4-day working week and a consistent back shift?

We're recruiting for a skilled HGV / LCV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of commercial vehicles and trailers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a 40-hour week over 4 days, with a 1:30pm start and midnight finish.

The Role

As an HGV / LCV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing commercial vehicles and trailers.

Your duties will include:

• Routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
• HGV and LCV mechanical repairs
• Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
• Defect repairs and preventative maintenance
• Working on franchised and non-franchised commercial vehicles
• Trailer maintenance and repairs
• Using manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist tooling
• Completing job cards, service sheets and online maintenance records
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards

About You

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - essential
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing and repairing commercial vehicles
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• High standards of workmanship
• Reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• HGV Licence - desirable~

Experience across both HGV and LCV vehicles would be advantageous, but strong experience in either area will be considered.
