HGV Technician, Grantham
£21.50 - £22.50 per hour
Monday-Friday
We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy general haulage operation in Grantham. This is a hands-on workshop role working across a mixed fleet, mainly DAF alongside Scania and Mercedes.
You’ll be carrying out general maintenance, servicing, inspections and repairs, with occasional breakdowns/local call-outs. Most work is workshop-based with very little call-out required.
Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified HGV Technician/Mechanic or time-served
- Experience working on HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Confident with servicing, repairs, inspections and fault finding
- Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety
- Reliable with good references
Job Details

- £21.50-£22.50 per hour
- Monday-Friday
- Occasional Saturday overtime available
- Mainly DAF fleet, plus Scania & Mercedes
- Very little call-out work
- Class 1 licence desirable but not essential
