The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and roadworthy.

Your duties will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs

• Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults

• Preparing vehicles for MOT and completing inspections

• Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard

• Completing job cards and service records accurately

• Working safely and effectively within workshop deadlines

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent) – essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good mechanical and electrical repair experience
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
