Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern? We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop. This is a great opportunity for a technician looking for a varied role, regular working hours and the chance to develop their technical skills within a busy workshop environment.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing repairs and replacing worn or defective components
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying potential faults
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Working efficiently to meet workshop requirements
• Supporting the wider workshop team when required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Good knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable, professional and proactive approach
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 would be advantageous
• MOT preparation experience would be beneficial
