HGV Technician - Nottingham Location: Nottingham Salary: £17.62 - £21.71 per hour, depending on experience Working Pattern: Rotating Day / Afters Shift Saturday (paid at 1.5x) Shift Premium: 15% late-shift premium

Looking for Your Next HGV Technician Opportunity? We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a long-term position with structured shift patterns, a 15% late-shift premium, Saturday (paid at 1.5x) and genuine opportunities for manufacturer training and career progression.

Shift Pattern Day Shift Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Afters Shift Monday - Thursday: 2:00pm - Midnight Friday: 2:30pm - 10:00pm Saturday (paid at 1.5x): 7:00am - 1:00pm 15% late-shift premium applies to the Afters shift.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out a range of servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Completing HGV inspections.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical checks.
• Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults.
• Completing repairs to a high standard.
• Ensuring vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently.
• Completing relevant inspection and maintenance paperwork.
• Working as part of a professional workshop team.

About You

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

• Level 3 HGV or Level 3 LCV qualification.
• Previous experience working on commercial vehicles.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• A reliable and professional approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the rotating shift pattern.
