Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of HGV Technician – Late Shift at their busy workshop in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV technicians seeking a stable and rewarding role with considerable earning potential. Benefits:
Basic salary £52,000
OTE approximately £55,000
Overtime paid at time and a half
Working hours from 12:30pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday
20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Long service recognition schemesDuties of a HGV Technician:
Servicing and repairing HGVs to industry standards
Diagnosing faults using specialist equipment
Conducting MOT preparation work
Performing preventative maintenance inspections
Keeping accurate workshop and vehicle service records
Wheel alignment and tyre fitting duties
Supporting the workshop with general repair tasks as requiredRequirements of a HGV Technician:
Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, IMI, or City & Guilds)
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
