We're recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Lincoln, offering excellent overtime opportunities, training and long-term career progression.

Working Hours The role operates on a rotating shift pattern: Week 1: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm Week 2: Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-10:30pm Every other Saturday: 7:00am-12:00pm, paid at time and a half. This is a 45-hour working week, with two Saturday mornings worked each month.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Carry out inspections, diagnostics and fault finding
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections
• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs
• Attend breakdowns and call-outs when required
• Carry out preventative maintenance
• Complete accurate service and repair records
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship

What We're Looking For

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent
• Previous HGV Technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Commercial vehicle or dealership experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Reliable and professional approach
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety
