HGV Technician - Ely Are you a qualified HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic looking for a permanent role with excellent overtime, training and career progression?

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join an established engineering team in Ely, working on a modern HGV fleet.

• Rotating Monday-Friday shifts: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
• Saturday overtime: 07:00-13:00 at time and a half - up to £31.50 per hour

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Carry out safety inspections and MOT preparation
• Complete routine preventative maintenance
• Ensure repairs meet required safety and manufacturer standards
• Maintain accurate records and a clean, safe workshop

About You

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Previous HGV or heavy vehicle experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence

HGV Licence is desirable but not essential.

Training & Development You'll have access to structured technical training, including Electrics Level 1 & 2, E-Mobility and Oscilloscope Diagnostics, with opportunities to progress through recognised technician accreditation levels.
