Job Description
Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle specialist based in Hull, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team. - - Basic salary up to £46,800, increasing to £50,700 with overtime
- - Optional overtime available to maximise your earnings
- - Fixed two-week shift rota with early and late shifts
- - Work on a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans, flatbeds, curtainsiders, and tractor units
- - Paid overtime for Saturday mornings (1 in 2 rota)

Duties of a HGV Technician:
- - Inspect and repair commercial vehicles to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation
- - Conduct fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic equipment
- - Carry out general mechanical and electrical repairs as a HGV Technician
- - Attend breakdowns onsite and offsite as required
- - Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring vehicles remain on the road
- - Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
- - Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance Qualification or equivalent
- - Proven experience as an HGV or Van Technician
- - Ability to work to high standards and attention to detail
- - Strong team work ethic and positive attitude
- - Commitment to professional development and adherence to health and safety protocols
- - Own set of tools
- - Full UK Driver’s Licence
