Location: Loughborough
Salary: £46,215 per annum (£22.22 per hour)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Some flexibility around timings)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overtime: Available at time and a half
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join the team in Loughborough on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday position, with overtime available at time and a half and the opportunity to gain an HGV driving licence , supported and funded by the company.
The Role
As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of a range of specialist vehicles, including RCVs and cage fitters .
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Completing inspections and repairs to a high standard
- Working on RCVs and cage fitter vehicles
- Ensuring all vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently
- Carrying out repairs in line with relevant safety and manufacturer standards
- Working as part of an experienced and supportive team
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance or a related discipline
- Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician
