Salary: Up to £24.00 per hour | OTE £65,000+ Location: Essex Working Hours: 45 hours per week | Rotating Monday to Friday shifts

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a thriving and busy commercial vehicle workshop in Essex. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Use computer-aided diagnostic equipment
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
• Continue developing your technical knowledge through ongoing training

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience using computer-aided diagnostics
• Main dealer experience is advantageous
• A motivated and proactive approach to work
