The Role

We're recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers to join a busy transport operation based in Bedford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who enjoy straightforward trunking work without the hassle of multi-drop deliveries or manual handling. You'll be driving modern wag and drag vehicles, completing trunk runs between Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) and National Distribution Centres (NDCs), ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.

Your day will involve vehicle safety checks, completing trunking routes, maintaining accurate paperwork and adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations. The role is focused on professional driving, with no handball involved, making it ideal for drivers looking for clean, consistent work and regular hours.

Essential Requirements ✔ Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence ✔ Valid CPC Qualification Card ✔ Digital Tachograph Card ✔ Minimum 6 months' recent Class 1 driving experience ✔ Previous wag and drag experience preferred ✔ No more than 6 penalty points on your licence ✔ No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements ✔ Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations ✔ Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
