About the Role
Are you a confident, experienced HLTA with a background in Alternative Provision? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Specialist HLTA to support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will be working within an OFSTED-rated 'Good' Alternative Provision located in Preston, serving the wider Chorley area. In this role, you will deliver a range of engaging lessons while managing small groups of up to 8 pupils, maintaining a supportive and structured environment.
Key Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
HLTA Status or a relevant degree
Proven experience working within an Alternative Provision or SEMH setting
Strong classroom management skills and experience managing challenging behaviour
Experience supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
A strong commitment to student development and school values
