A warm, welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackpool is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team after the October half term .
This rewarding role will focus primarily on PPA cover , providing high-quality teaching and learning across a range of year groups. The school is looking for a confident HLTA with strong curriculum knowledge who can step into the classroom, deliver engaging lessons, and maintain a positive learning environment while teachers undertake their planning, preparation and assessment time.

- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during PPA time.
- Managing whole-class learning independently and confidently.
- Supporting pupils of all abilities to access the curriculum and make progress.
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of individual learners, including those with SEND.
- Working closely with class teachers to ensure continuity of learning.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining high expectations throughout the school.
- Supporting intervention groups where required.
- Hold HLTA status or have significant experience working at HLTA level.
- Possess strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Be confident delivering lessons across a range of year groups.
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be adaptable, proactive and committed to supporting pupil achievement.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to working as part of a school team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
