Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a school in South Shields.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is ready to take on additional responsibility within the classroom and support pupils with a range of learning and additional needs.
You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities, support individuals and groups of pupils and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience working as a TA or HLTA
Ideally hold a relevant Level 3 qualification
Be confident supporting whole-class and small-group activities
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Be comfortable taking initiative within the classroom
Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs
Be reliable, adaptable and professional
Working hours:
Monday–Friday
8:30am–4:30pm
