Our High Wycombe based school provides outstanding education to its pupils, and its dedicated staff play a crucial role in achieving this. As a HLTA, you will take on a more senior role, supporting the teaching and learning process, and assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons.

Vacancy : Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location : High Wycombe

Contract : Long term contract

Pay : £110 to £130 per day

Start : September 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Support the teaching staff in delivering high‑quality lessons
• Lead intervention groups and provide additional support to students who require it
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring they meet the specific needs of the students
• Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Qualifications

• A relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
