Your Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons Lead small group interventions and targeted learning activities Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities Promote positive behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment Assist with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress
Essential Requirements
HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level (Desirable) Previous experience working within a UK school setting (Mandatory) Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and classroom practices A minimum of 24 months of referenceable work history within the last 5 years (Mandatory) Professional references provided from company/professional email addresses only (Mandatory) Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Right to work in the UK Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
