We have a three form entry Primary in Blackpool seeking a motivated and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your expertise and contribute to raising standards across the school. This role is temporary term time, working hours offer 5 days work per week between Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30 from September - December 2026. Pay is £14.50-£16 per hour. This role is open to any ECT's and HLTA's who are seeking classroom management experience across the school. The school has close motorway links, parking and a bus route outside.

About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with teachers to support the learning and development of our students. Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering, and evaluating learning activities for individuals, small groups, and occasionally whole classes, under the direction of the teacher. Contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support plans. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil progress reviews. Leading specific learning activities or interventions, adapting resources and strategies to meet diverse needs. Covering classes for short periods in the absence of the teacher (PPA cover, training, etc.). Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Providing guidance and support to other Teaching Assistants. Liaising with parents and carers under the direction of the teacher. Contributing to the wider life of the school.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant who: Holds a relevant Level 3 or 4 qualification (or equivalent experience). Has significant experience working in a school setting. Possesses HLTA status (or is willing to work towards it).
