About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and empathetic Holistic Massage Therapist to join their wellness centre in Stoke-on-Trent on a contractor basis. This role focuses on providing a range of therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, well-being, and recovery for clients. You will work autonomously, managing your own schedule and client bookings, while adhering to the centre's high standards of professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of holistic massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone massage.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their needs, medical history, and specific areas of concern.
• Develop and recommend personalised massage treatment plans to address client goals.
• Maintain a serene and therapeutic environment, ensuring client comfort and privacy at all times.
• Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation protocols for the treatment space and equipment.
• Manage client bookings, process payments, and maintain accurate client records.
• Stay current with professional development and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification from an accredited massage therapy school.
• Professional licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing professional massage therapy.
• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities, with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional boundaries.
