Job Description
AtHome Instead Leek & Moorlands we offer support to individuals living in their own home. We are looking for Home Care Assistants to attend visits to our clients inBakewell, Yulegrave & Matlock . Offer companionship, support, and happiness to our clients, all while enjoying the flexibility that comes with working for us.No experience required - just a friendly personality and the right values.
At Home Instead we haveminimum 1-hour calls plus suitable travel time to ensure you are not rushed with clients, withmileage reimbursement . We work tomatch our Care Professionals and clients together somemorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can reallyget to know your client and their needs.
This is a part-time role that will include alternate weekends.
Unfortunately, we do not have a licence to offer sponsorship.
Job Description
Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Support Worker:
- Offeringwarmth and care during visits.
- Enhance the home atmosphere by aiding in lighthousehold chores andmeal preparations .
- Help clientscherish their time with you, sharing inactivities such as reading or watching favourite TV shows.
- Support withpersonal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
- Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the local shops.
- Ensure transparentcommunication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care andcomfort .
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience is not required ; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
- You must have a fulldriver's licence anddependable transportation for various duties.
- You must bereliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- Must have acaring, friendly disposition to create lasting relationships.
Additional Information
- £12.50-£13.50 per hour, doubled on bank holidays , plus30p per mile.
