For this role you must live in Stockport and work8am-2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm shifts includingalternate weekends . This is apart-time vacancy.

At Home Instead we know you can't provide the highest standard of care with 15-minute calls, and no one wants to be rushed. That's why we haveminimum 1-hour calls plus suitable travel time to ensure you can take your time with clients, withmileage reimbursement . Wematch our Care Professionals and clients together somemorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can reallyget to know your client and their needs.

• £13.00-£14.00 per hour, doubled on bank holidays , plus35p per mile.

Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Care Assistant:

• Perform household tasks such aslight cleaning, laundry and tidying.
• Make, or assist to make your client's favouritemeals.
• Offer companionship and social support , engaging with your client'shobbies and getting to know them.
• Support withpersonal care tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
• Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. thelocal shops or a café .
• Ensure transparentcommunication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care andcomfort .
• Writeaccurate daily notes , keeping up strong communication with the office.
• Administermedication and record appropriately.

Requirements:

• Experience is not required ; we offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
• You must have a fulldriver's licence anddependable transportation for various duties.
• You must bereliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
• Must have acaring, friendly personality.
