What This Role Is Really About

At its core, this role is about matching the right child with the right foster home quickly, safely, and effectively.

Youll be right in the middle of it all:

• Placement requests coming in
• Carer availability changing
• Local Authorities needing answers
• Decisions that genuinely impact childrens lives

Its busy. It moves fast. And it matters.

What Youll Be Doing

• Matching and placing children with suitable foster carers
• Monitoring placement requests and responding quickly and professionally
• Preparing high-quality matching reports and documentation
• Keeping internal systems and vacancy trackers fully up to date
• Building strong relationships with Local Authorities and foster carers
• Attending meetings and contributing to placement decisions
• Ensuring all communication is clear, accurate and timely

What Were Looking For

This role suits someone who is organised, proactive and xwwtmva calm under pressure .

• Strong admin, IT and data management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, professional and solution-focused mindset
• Experience working with children/young people in a social care setting
• NVQ in Social Care (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
