Hot Tub and Maintenance Assistant
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Grounds Maintenance & Hot Tub Assistant to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards and is passionate about delivering a clean, safe and well-presented environment for guests. In this role, you will support both the upkeep of the park grounds and the maintenance of hot tubs across our accommodation, helping to ensure a high-quality guest experience at all times.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is practical, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent, full-time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general grounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming, planting and landscaping
- Clean, maintain and service hot tubs to ensure they meet company and safety standards
- Test and monitor water quality, ensuring correct chemical levels are maintained
- Conduct regular checks of hot tubs, plant equipment and outdoor areas
- Ensure all grounds, accommodation exteriors and hot tub areas are clean, tidy and well-presented
- Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs across the park
- Respond to maintenance and hot tub-related requests in a timely manner
- Handle and store chemicals safely in line with health & safety guidelines
- Support with waste management and general upkeep of the park
- Work closely with other departments to support the overall guest experience
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, facilities or a similar role is desirable
- Experience with hot tubs or water treatment is advantageous but not essential (training can be provided)
- Practical skills with a good understanding of basic maintenance tasks
- Awareness of health & safety procedures, particularly around chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A commitment to maintaining high standards
