About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join their welcoming team in Portsmouth . You will play a key role in ensuring a positive first impression for all guests, supervising front desk operations, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and leading a team of front desk agents. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to upholding the high service standards of our client in Hampshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient and smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing guest needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Train and mentor front desk staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and service standards.
• Manage room inventory, reservations, and guest accounts accurately.
• Handle telephone communications, inquiries, and special requests from guests.
• Assist the Hotel Manager with administrative tasks and operational improvements as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and standard office software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Familiarity with operations in Portsmouth hotels is a plus.
