Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling reservations and inquiries accurately.
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate financial records for the front desk.
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests and needs are met.
- Assist in developing and implementing front desk procedures to improve efficiency and guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk role, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
