Hotel General Manager

About the Role

Our client is searching for a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead their flagship property in Belfast . You will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximizing profitability. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service standards and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Manage the hotel's budget, financial performance, and resource allocation effectively.
• Lead, train, and motivate the hotel staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a General Manager role.
• Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and controlling costs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, sales, marketing, and financial management.
• Experience with hotel management systems and reporting tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
