About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Hotel Revenue Manager to optimize revenue generation for their properties based in or near Derby . This role involves developing and implementing effective pricing strategies, forecasting demand, and managing inventory across various distribution channels. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to maximize room revenue and achieve overall profitability goals. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing for both strategic planning and collaborative engagement with on-site teams, making it ideal for an experienced revenue professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic pricing and inventory management strategies to maximize room revenue .
- Conduct regular market analysis, competitor research, and demand forecasting to inform pricing decisions.
- Manage all online distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and the hotel's direct booking website.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional offers and packages.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, ADR, and Occupancy, and provide regular reports.
- Analyze booking trends and provide insights to optimize revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hotel Revenue Manager or in a similar revenue management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in revenue management systems and tools.
- Excellent understanding of distribution channels, online travel agencies (OTAs), and dynamic pricing strategies.
- Ability to forecast demand accurately and make data-driven pricing decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in a hybrid work setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
