About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to lead their dedicated housekeeping team in a well-regarded hotel in Sheffield . This role is vital in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction. You will be responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, managing cleaning schedules, conducting room inspections, and ensuring efficient inventory control of linens and supplies, all within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and service standards.
• Address guest concerns or requests related to housekeeping promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a housekeeping department, preferably in hospitality .
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Leadership ability and experience in training and motivating staff.
