Service Care Solutions are currently working with a well-estabished and highly regarded law firm in Liverpool who are looking to appoint a Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor from NQ to 5 years' PQE with experience in Housing Disrepair litigation who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing legal team.
Housing Disrepair Solicitor
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum DOE
Location: Liverpool/Hybrid
Experience: NQ-5 years' PQE
Key Responsibilities as a Housing Disrepair Solicitor:
- You will manage your own caseload of Housing Disrepair matters, including:
- Managing Housing Disrepair claims from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Advising clients on all aspects of Housing Disrepair litigation
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings and correspondence
- Reviewing evidence, expert reports and schedules of disrepair
- Conducting negotiations and pursuing settlement where appropriate
- Preparing matters for and attending court hearings where required
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with relevant legislation and procedures
- Maintaining high standards of client care throughout the lifecycle of each case
About You as a Housing Disrepair Solicitor:
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor from NQ to 5 years' PQE with experience handling Housing Disrepair or wider Civil Litigation matters. We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience or a strong interest in Housing Disrepair litigation
- Is confident managing their own caseload
- Has strong knowledge of the litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules
- Has excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Takes ownership and responsibility for their work
- Has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
