Housing Led Coordinator Porchlight•Canterbury, UK
About the role:
We’re looking for a compassionate, proactive individual to support entrenched rough sleepers and those with complex needs into Housing First/Housing-Led accommodation and help them sustain tenancies.
You’ll provide tailored, strength‑based support, working closely with partner agencies to address challenges such as mental health, substance misuse, and social integration. If you’re adaptable, resilient, and committed to empowering people to make positive changes, we’d love to hear from you.
The role requires:
- Ability to build trust and provide intensive, person‑centred support to people with complex needs.
- Experience of working with rough sleepers and delivering strength‑based interventions.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills with a proactive approach.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, housing legislation, and multi‑agency working.
Porchlight is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk.
Working pattern: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required.
Contract type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027
