With a significant programme of new-build homes coming forward, alongside an ongoing programme of vacant-property management, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team and play a key role in delivering high-quality housing services to local communities.
About the Housing Officer: This is a generic housing management role, covering Swansea and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will manage a varied tenancy caseload and provide support across the full tenancy lifecycle, including tenancy management, tenant engagement, neighbourhood issues, property visits and tenancy sustainment.
There will also be a strong focus on supporting the letting and occupation of new-build homes, as well as assisting with the wider vacant-property programme. However, this is not a purely lettings-focused position and will provide the opportunity to undertake a broad range of housing management responsibilities.
The role is community-based and will require regular travel across Swansea and surrounding areas, alongside flexible hybrid working.

Support tenancy sustainment and work with tenants to resolve issues. Work closely with repairs, income, housing and other internal teams. Maintain accurate tenancy records and case management information. Manage your own workload, diary and travel effectively. Contribute to the ongoing development of the housing service.
