Job Description
Location: Worcestershire - Fully onsite, 5 days per week Contract: Temporary / Fixed-Term Contract Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Our client, a leading organisation in the education and public services sector, is looking for an organised and proactive HR Administrator / Office Manager to provide essential support across HR administration and day-to-day office operations.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised and working closely with colleagues across the organisation. Previous experience within education, higher education, social care or a similar environment would be beneficial.
What you'll do
Provide day-to-day HR administration and coordination support Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Support onboarding, new starter processes and general employee administration Assist with recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and preparing documentation Manage general office administration and ensure the office runs efficiently Coordinate meetings, diaries, correspondence and other administrative requirements Act as a key point of contact for employees and external stakeholders Support managers with HR processes and administrative queries Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information Assist with general office coordination and ad-hoc projects as required What we're looking for
Previous experience in HR administration, office management or a similar administrative role Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communication skills, both written and verbal Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines A professional and approachable manner Experience working with confidential or sensitive information Background within education, higher education, social care, public sector or a similar environment would be advantageous The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable and comfortable working in a fully onsite environment, with the confidence to take ownership of a varied workload.
