About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized HR Administrator to join their busy HR department based in Sunderland . This role is essential for providing administrative support across a range of HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the department. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment administration, and supporting HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude towards supporting the HR team and the wider organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) and other relevant databases.
- Provide administrative support for the recruitment process, including posting vacancies, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Respond to general HR queries from employees and managers in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the HR team with various administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Help to organize and facilitate HR events, training sessions, and team meetings.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role or a similar administrative position.
- Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
