HR & Systems Adviser

Location: Oxford Salary: £18.59 - £19.18 Contract:Temporary until March 2027

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for an experienced HR & Systems Adviser to join their People team.

This is a varied HR advisory role, providing day-to-day support to managers and employees while also taking the lead on workforce data, HR systems and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and legally compliant HR advice to managers and employees
• Independently manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters
• Coach and support managers across the employee lifecycle
• Support recruitment campaigns and HR projects
• Lead on workforce data and HR systems, identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Support HR system upgrades and new implementations
• Contribute to policy, reporting and wider people initiatives

About You

• CIPD qualified/member
• Strong experience handling employee relations cases
• Confident working independently across a broad range of HR matters
• Experience working with Trade Unions and operational workforces
• Knowledge and experience of HRIS systems & PowerBI
• Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills
