Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Schools HR Advisor to join Nottingham City Council on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional HR advice and guidance to headteachers and senior leaders across maintained schools.
* Support managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence and organisational change.
* Advise on recruitment, retention and workforce planning, ensuring schools are equipped to attract and retain talented staff.
* Support trade union consultations and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.
* Assist with workforce data analysis, reporting and HR metrics to support informed decision making.
* Support organisational development initiatives and contribute to change management projects.
* Produce clear and accurate HR guidance, reports and management information.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as an HR Advisor, Human Resources Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor or similar HR role.
* Experience advising managers on a wide range of employee relations matters.
* Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
