HR Advisor (Employee Relations Focus)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor with a strong focus on employee relations to join their team in Norwich . This role will be central to managing and resolving workplace issues, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing expert advice and guidance on a range of ER matters, from grievances to disciplinary actions. This is an important position within the HR function, contributing to a harmonious and productive work environment in Norwich .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and provide expert advice on all employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote positive employee relations and a constructive workplace culture.
• Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures.
• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace disputes and provide recommendations.
• Advise managers on best practices for performance management and employee development.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, with a demonstrable focus on employee relations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law, particularly in relation to ER.
• Excellent mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with all levels of staff.
