About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled HR Advisor specializing in Employee Relations to join their team in Derby, Derbyshire . This role will be responsible for providing expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and UK employment law. You will conduct investigations, advise managers on complex cases, and contribute to fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote working and on-site collaboration, allowing you to effectively support employees and management across the organization in Derby .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive advice and support on all employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns and disputes, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
- Advise line managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Contribute to proactive employee relations initiatives aimed at improving workplace culture and engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of ER cases and support HR data analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR advisory role with a strong focus on employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in employee relations.
- Proven experience in conducting investigations and managing complex HR cases.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mediation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
- CIPD qualification or relevant professional experience.
