About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced HR Advisor with a focus on Employee Relations to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is crucial for maintaining a positive and productive work environment by providing expert advice on employee relations matters, managing complex cases, and ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies. You will work closely with line managers to address workplace issues effectively and contribute to the development of HR strategies that promote employee well-being and organisational fairness. Your expertise will be key in navigating challenging HR situations and fostering a culture of respect and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations.
- Lead and manage complex disciplinary, grievance, and capability investigations.
- Develop and deliver training to managers on employee relations best practices and legal compliance.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, legally compliant, and consistently applied across Wolverhampton .
- Support organisational change initiatives, advising on consultation processes and employee impact.
- Contribute to the proactive management of employee relations to minimise risk and foster a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Significant experience in an HR Advisor role with a strong emphasis on employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in managing employee disputes.
- Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively.
- Proven ability to influence and guide managers on HR matters.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is preferred.
