About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join their team in Coventry . This role is key to supporting the day-to-day HR operations, providing essential advice and assistance to employees and managers across the organisation. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth HR processes, from onboarding new hires to managing employee relations and contributing to HR projects. This position offers a blend of office-based collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to be part of a supportive HR department dedicated to enhancing the employee experience within the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to employees and line managers on a wide range of HR matters, including HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting vacancies, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and managing offer letters.
- Support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and induction to managing leavers and conducting exit interviews.
- Contribute to the management of employee relations cases, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist in the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives, such as training programs or policy updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR support role.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
