About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Advisor to join their team in Plymouth . This role is crucial for providing comprehensive HR support to managers and employees, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, and contributing to a positive employee relations environment. You will manage a range of HR activities, including employee casework, recruitment support, and HR project work, playing a vital part in the successful operation of the HR function. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers and employees on all aspects of HR, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Manage employee casework effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, from job description creation to offer management.
- Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up-to-date and legally compliant.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, training, and development.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure timely completion of HR administration tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is essential.
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role, with a strong understanding of UK employment law and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues independently and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment based in Plymouth .
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
