Our client is seeking a skilled and approachable HR Advisor to join their team, supporting operations in Oxford and beyond. You will play a vital part in managing employee relations, recruitment processes, and ensuring adherence to HR policies and UK employment law. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR issues, including policy interpretation and application.
- Manage and resolve employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent handling of disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to onboarding new team members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team to ensure consistent delivery of HR services across the organisation.
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent practical HR experience.
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in HR.
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and providing advice to management.
- Excellent IT proficiency, including HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
