About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join their established team in Cardiff . This role is essential for providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience. You will handle a broad range of HR activities, from advising on policies and procedures to supporting recruitment and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and a passion for people management, working within a collaborative environment that values professional growth and development, and supporting the team based in our Cardiff office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive HR advice and support to employees and line managers on a daily basis.
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management procedures.
- Support the recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to conducting interviews and making offers.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies, maintaining accurate HR records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR projects focused on improving employee engagement and HR service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role or a similar generalist HR position.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in handling employee relations issues effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- CIPD Level 3 or 4 qualification is advantageous.
