About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join their dedicated team in Cambridge . This role is essential for providing expert HR support and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring effective implementation of HR strategies and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will manage a range of HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, and recruitment, while ensuring compliance with employment law. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HR professional to contribute significantly to the organisation's success and growth within a traditional office-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive advice and support on employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, interviewing, and making offers.
- Administer compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support performance management processes, working with managers to set objectives and conduct reviews.
- Develop and deliver HR training to employees and managers on various HR topics.
- Ensure adherence to all UK employment legislation and company HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role or similar, with a strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations issues and provide strategic HR guidance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and common office software.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment in Cambridge .
