About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join their team, supporting operations across Cardiff and potentially other UK locations. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive HR support to employees and managers, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and compliance. You will be responsible for a range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment support, and policy implementation, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR support and advice to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law queries.
- Assist in the management of employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, and grievance procedures.
- Support the recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role or similar.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
