About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their established team in Edinburgh, Scotland . This hybrid role involves providing comprehensive HR support to employees and managers, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and HR policy guidance. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive and productive work environment, acting as a trusted point of contact for HR matters. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Guide managers through performance management processes, including appraisals and development planning.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated in line with legislative changes.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an HR Advisor or similar HR role, with a strong understanding of UK employment law.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations cases with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment, managing responsibilities both in-office and remotely.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards it is highly desirable.
