About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Advisor to join their growing team, operating on a hybrid basis from their offices in Southampton . This role is crucial for providing essential HR support and guidance to both employees and management, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively. You will handle a variety of employee relations matters, support recruitment activities, and contribute to HR projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges, thriving in a role that blends office-based collaboration with remote working flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise line managers and employees on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, in line with UK employment law .
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, working with hiring managers to source, attract, and onboard suitable candidates.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and legally compliant.
- Assist in delivering HR initiatives related to talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development.
- Conduct HR data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making and track HR metrics.
- Foster positive employee relations and contribute to a constructive workplace culture, utilising both office and remote working methods.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role, with a solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations casework effectively.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a hybrid work structure.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is preferred.
