About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Advisor to join their team based in Cardiff . This role is essential for providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees and managers across various departments. As an on-site position, you will be an integral part of the local workforce in Cardiff, Wales , fostering a strong workplace community and ensuring smooth HR operations. You will handle a broad range of HR activities, contributing to a positive and compliant working environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide generalist HR advice and support to line managers on issues such as disciplinary, grievances, and performance management.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including advertising roles, screening candidates, and managing induction.
- Maintain HR records and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively.
- Assist with employee relations issues, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required by the HR department.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
- Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working face-to-face.
- Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous.
