HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Advisor to join their team in Glasgow . In this role, you will provide essential HR support to employees and managers, handling a wide range of queries and contributing to the smooth running of the HR function. You will be involved in employee relations, policy implementation, and supporting various HR projects. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Manage and advise on employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Support recruitment activities, including advising on job descriptions and selection processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
• Maintain employee records and ensure accurate HR data management.
• Contribute to ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation in Scotland .

Requirements

• Experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS.
• CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable.
