About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Advisor to support their operations, working primarily remotely. This role is essential for providing expert HR advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and promoting best practices across the organisation. You will play a key part in managing the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations, all within a remote framework. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional to contribute to a positive and efficient workplace culture, offering flexibility and the ability to work from home, while still driving impactful HR solutions for teams based in and around Cardiff .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and support to employees and line managers on a range of HR issues.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including advertising, screening, and interviewing.
- Manage and support disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required, working effectively in a remote setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor or similar HR role is essential.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote interaction.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Part or full CIPD qualification is advantageous.
